The History or Story Behind My Site
It all began in my kitchen at my kitchen table. I wanted something to help me relieve the stresses of my 40 hour a week JOB. Since I LOVED to paint, it wasn't hard for me to find something to hold my interests. I would go to my local Craft store and purchase small inexpensive wood projects to put together and paint. Every evening after dinner I would sit at my kitchen table and work away at my creations. Then, I would give my beautiful projects away to family and very close friends. As time wore on, I decided that I wanted to create my own patterns. So, I went to the local Hardware store and purchased my very first Scroll saw. I bought some tolepainting books and some pine wood and started to trace and cut out the patterns. I would practice every evening after dinner. A friend told me that I could make a small profit selling my creations. So, I contacted a few local Craft stores that rented space in their store. I sold my crafts in their stores for several years until another friend informed me of selling crafts at Boutiques. Here I go again, I thought, so I inquired about the Boutiques and started contacting the promoters for the Boutiques. It has been a wonderful 15 years of crafting and selling. I have loved every minute of it.
